Mentoring Testimonials:
"Jordan gave me mentorship/guidance/advice that I needed when starting out in my art adventure. In searching and reaching out to find someone to help me I discovered Jordan, and found before we even talked that with all of her education and experience I knew she was the one that could help me.
We worked together in monthly meetings for just over a period of a year, and during that time Jordan provided me with her professional advice on all the various parts of beginning - applying for shows, pricing my pieces, joining art organizations, create a CV, a website, social media, and the most important - creating art.
I would highly refer Jordan to anyone for guidance - both those starting new and as well for people who have been out for a some time and want to get updated or learn new on various parts of the creation of art.“

'Jordan Miller is the reason I know how to be an artist, which is amazing since I have done not one thing how I am supposed to do, but she taught me, anyway. She’s instructed me on valuable techniques like photo image transfer, and how to wire a painting properly, and given me invaluable tips for structuring each day with constant encouragement to keep working, no matter what.
Near the end of the cre8ery, Jordan guided me through the entire process of my solo show and I felt so safe and supported throughout, to be able to fully concentrate on my art show while she looked after details and coached me on how to do absolutely everything from writing my biography to advertising on social media to how to approach and talk with people about the art I made.
Not only that, she creates beautiful work of her own all the while patiently and persistently helping so many others create theirs. I will always be immensely grateful for everything she has done for me and look forward to future events with her in them."

Over the past five years Jordan’s mentorship has been instrumental in my growth and identity as an artist. I engaged her for formal coaching on how to establish the business aspect of my art practice. Her advice was clear and practical, and obviously came from a well of great experience.
Beyond the formal coaching, Jordan has generously shared her knowledge about both the creative and business aspects of art. The membership model she developed for Cre8ery enabled me as an emerging artist to exhibit my work in a professional setting. This opportunity facilitated my earliest sales.
I have learned a great deal about marketing and promoting my art through observing Jordan’s example and talking with her about her gallery work. It is evident that Jordan loves to share her knowledge and build up other artists. Jordan’s continued support has given me the confidence to reach out more broadly for opportunities to exhibit. Her encouragement and guidance are definitely a big part of why I will have my work shown in three separate exhibition spaces this month.

I loved the personal attention in my mentoring session with Jordan. For two hours, she reviewed a large selection of my photographs.
Her feedback was supportive and constructive. I ended up with a number of ideas for things I could try to do differently. Jordan talked about specifics of editing and composition in my photos, and also more broadly about abstract art, and the stories photographs can tell.
She was very willing to answer all my questions. The session was exactly what I had hoped for.
