With almost 25 years of gallery ownership and management
experience, I have a wealth of knowledge to share as an artist,
mentor, and art consultant. Entrepreneurial skills were learned
through years of University study and business experience.
Marketing of art is a big part of my focus and success as an
artist.
Through online video consulting services, I teach valuable skills
locally and nationally. We begin with the basics and focus on
more in-depth needs as sessions continue. Since 2010, I've
conducted hundreds of online sessions with artists and arts
organizations in Manitoba, across Canada, and the United
States.
Jordan Miller (she/her) - Art Consultant Biography
Jordan is an artist, mentor and art consultant living and working in St. Andrews, Manitoba. Her experience in owning and operating two Winnipeg art galleries over the duration of 23 years informed a vast knowledge in supporting artists from developing effective marketing strategies to building relationships with repeat art collectors and patrons. Being an art mentor for over 20 years, she's worked with artists of all levels from aspiring to emerging and professional.
As a past board member of ACI (renamed Creative Manitoba), the former InPlainView Studio Tour, and as the current board co-chair of Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba in addition to being a past gallery venue owner (cre8ery), she recognizes how important strategic plans are for organizational development and sustainability. Implementing creative, lower budget plans for artists and organizations to be successful with their mandates is something she takes pride in. Smaller budgets in the arts and for artists are common. Developing strategies that are low cost, engaging to the public while increasing revenue is a priority.
Jordan graduated with a BFA honours from the University of Manitoba in 2002. She holds an Arts and Cultural Management diploma from the U of W in 2008. She founded, owned and operated cre8ery inc in 2006 and dissolved the incorporation in 2026 due to chronic health reasons. In 2025, Jordan started an online gallery and arts collective called ShopArtMb creating a more accessible work-life balance. This allows her to work on small to medium projects taking on new contracts.
She was the recipient of the 35th Annual YMCA Woman of Distinction Award in the category of Arts in 2011 and a finalist for the Future Leaders Of Manitoba in 2015. Over the last 24 years, She has exhibited at Pulse Gallery, Birchwood Gallery, Fleet Galleries, cre8ery, Gallery Lacosse, Urban Shaman, Gallery 111, outworks, Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba Gift Shop, Gallery in the Park, Prairie Fusion, 210 Gallery, and Golden Prairie Arts Council.
Jordan is a member of the artists with disabilities community, Manitoba Society of Artists, Creative Manitoba, Manitoba Arts Network, Arts AccessAbility Network MB and Mentoring Art for Women’s Art. Her art is collected across North America and Internationally and by the Province of Manitoba and by incorporated businesses.

Over the past five years Jordan’s mentorship has been instrumental in my growth and identity as an artist. I engaged her for formal coaching on how to establish the business aspect of my art practice. Her advice was clear and practical, and obviously came from a well of great experience.

I loved the personal attention in my mentoring session with Jordan. For two hours, she reviewed a large selection of my photographs.
Her feedback was supportive and constructive. I ended up with a number of ideas for things I could try to do differently. Jordan talked about specifics of editing and composition in my photos, and also more broadly about abstract art, and the stories photographs can tell.
