Fall Leaves swirl from sky to earth. A beautiful dance that flows as they twist and turn in the air, finding their new home, where they serve another purpose - laid to rest.

The light glistens thought the trees. I wish we could hold on to this season a little longer.

The changing season lasts what feels like a split second.

Blink and you miss it.

The warm woolies: they cover our hands, necks, and shoulder. Comforting. We turn the heat on. We light fires. Trees give us shelter, they give us fire, and the leaves protect the soil, grass and critters that live in our earth's ecosystem.

The trees will soon be bare. A cold blanket of winter will cover them until spring. In six months, we will see the green grass on nature's floor again. The sun will keep rising and shining but shorter. We say goodbye to another great summer season. We are blessed to still be here.
